1) CGPA calculator formula.

2) Understanding the CGPA calculator formula.

1) Numerator : Σ ⁿ _i=1(Pi × Ci)
For each subject i, calculate the product of the Grade Points (Pi) and the number of credits Ci
sum up this product for all courses from i = 1 to n.

2) Denominator : Σ ⁿ _i=1(Ci)
For each subject i, Sum up these credit values from i=0 to n for number of credits Ci.

3)Final Calculation:
Divide total sum of grade points (numerator) by the total sum of credit hrs (denominator) Ci.

In a simple way :
CGPA = [(FE SGPA * FE CREDIT) + (SE SGPA * SE CREDIT) + (TE SGPA * TE CREDIT) + (BE SGPA * BE CREDIT)] / [TOTAL CREDITS of FE + SE + TE + BE].
